The edible animal cell cake – Lysosome cake balls

When L was assigned her 5th grade science project, she immediately chose the edible option. The task? Create a 3D represenation of either an animal or plant cell.

The above is the result of an 11 year old who had never iced a cake or rolled a cake ball before. The picture on the right is what she was mimicking.

Yes, she spelled nucleus wrong, but you can see in the second picture that instead of replacing the lable completely, she just tucked the “u” in there, heh.
